“The property owner Amelia was great with communication and always responded within a few minutes with answers to all our questions. The property is an adorable 3 story cabin, downstairs game room and nice bathroom (with steep ladder stairs which was fun to go down), a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans and tableware, labels on every light switch to know what is where. The hot tub was awesome and very comfortable. Amelia really covered all information in her guides and wrote exactly how things worked so there wasnt really many questions.”

“This was our second winter visit. The Cabin perfectly situated in North Lake Tahoe, close to amenities and ski resorts. Cabin itself is quaint and clean. Hot tub was the icing on the cake! The neighborhood is friendly, and backyard property opens to scenic wooded setting. Fantastic! We will be making this an annual trip for sure!“

“We couldn’t have asked for a better home for our group of 10 adults traveling from all over the country for our annual reunion. It was all of our first times in Lake Tahoe, and the house was in the perfect location for a quick drive to nearby hikes, beaches and grocery stores. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook food every night, and the charcoal grill was great for grilling burgers and vegetables. The hot tub was so relaxing for lying back and looking at the stars! The home had plenty of space for all 10 of us, and the 3 full bathrooms/showers were essential for our group. WiFi worked great, and the house came with multiple TVs and tons of DVDs to enjoy! The Game Room downstairs was so much fun; we played Foosball, darts, poker and other board games! The house is also in a very quiet, residential location with the forest right out the back door! I wish we had more time to hike and explore out back, but Lake Tahoe had plenty of nearby activities that we chose to do instead. I highly recommend exploring DL Bliss State Park (40 min drive) for hiking, beach and sunrise, Five Lakes Creek Trail (20 min drive) for some moderate hiking, and Kings Beach (17 min drive) in North Tahoe for kayaking, paddle boards, volleyball and swimming at the beach!”

“This cabin was just the perfect size for our family of four, not too large and not too small. It’s very cute from the outside and highly functional on the inside. It’s fully stocked with everything that you might need, plus lots of bonus stuff like DVDs and games. Its location is very convenient, half way between Tahoe City and Kings Beach. It backs up to woods and is very quiet and peaceful. If we’re ever back in Tahoe, we would definitely want to stay here again!“

“Our group stayed here for the long holiday weekend and it was perfect for our needs. The house comfortably slept everyone and we were incredibly impressed with the quality of the house. We loved the deck and the BBQ. There are some great running/hiking/biking trails nearby which was also great for getting some morning exercise. The game room was an amazing draw as well – we had a blast playing all of the throw back games and the fooseball table! The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking necessities as well, which we really appreciated. We loved everything about it!”

“My husband and two daughters have never been on a family vacation. We decided to go to Tahoe to take our girls 8 and 11 to see snow for the first time. We were drawn to this listing by the game room, sled runs and fantastic reviews. I packed a lot of items I thought I would need in a rental home. When we checked in and saw all of the amenities available we were highly impressed! I left a lot of spices and paper towels I brought with me because the owners had a lot available for tenants to use. The house is EXTREMELY clean and well taken care of.
Our girls couldn’t wait to get into the house to explore! They couldn’t believe how many activities were available for them during their stay: Games, books, cd player, Ipod player clock radio…… and the HOT TUB and SLED RUNS also their favorites! They went from sledding and hiking in the back state forest in the snow, to their bathing suits to get into the hot tub to warm up! Another thing that made us parents thrilled, was our girls kept mentioning how this house was homey and felt like home. So they were really comfortable in a different setting.
Us parents had a wonderful time as well. My husband and I work a lot and are under a lot of stress. We sled, hiked, made adjustments to the sled run, enjoyed the fully stocked nesppresso machine, and had a blast playing foosball. We were so relaxed at this chalet. They had shovels and sleds. Most sleds were cracked but we left ours there for others to use. Another plus was, my husband and I were able to have some alone time as well. This home can keep kids occupied and engaged at all times.
I thank the owners for their hospitality. We will be booking this exact place next year for vacation. We hope they don’t sell this beautiful place. It was the perfect winter wonderland for us to rent.“
